I'm confident Robert is reading all this and is picking out all of the =
coolest stuff for the next edition of official Euphoria. I really like =
the freedom of unofficial Euphoria, however. I like developing my own =
math libs, etc.. Naming conflicts are a pain in the ass, but you can =
open up an include file and do some renaming, after all! All this =
competition is certainly developing better programs and we develop each =
others ideas. Besides this, there isn't a best single answer for =
everything, even for math libraries.

A particularly good example of unofficial Euphoria at its best: =
Official Euphoria has no explicit object orientation, but several of us =
are working on different schemes to provide this. IMHO my own Eclasses =
is the best generic object-oriented system--but David Cuny's Llama is =
clearly superior in the area for which it is primarily intended (working =
with the windows API). I must also mention Rod Jackson easy, elegant =
and very low overhead Quartz. There are several other schemes out there =
with considerable merit. This gives the Euphoria programmer who wants =
the benefits of object orientation considerable choice--plus the freedom =
of mining the archives for ideas and developing his own! Indeed, this =
is what I did--I'm good, but I couldn't have developed Eclasses from =
scratch in a language I had just learned!

Anyway, I'm all for good official libs, but let's don't get to hung up =
on it.
