which release is "official"?

I notice that on the Euphoria website that there seem to be 2 "official" releases. The main download link is still version 3.1.1, although version 4.0 is now also "official". Why not replace 3.1.1 with version 4.0 and remove smaller links to 4.0 on the home page?

I don't mean to criticise the development of Euphoria since it went open-source, but I know there are lots of users who are unhappy with the speed and scale of the changes, and continue to use 3.1.1, so I was wondering whether there are 2 branches of the language: the "classic" version (<= 3.1.1) and version 4.0 and above.
