Indeed. The people who know how to fix the problems are not permitted to access the site's code. Not very open-source-like at all.
I had no trouble checking out the code for the website. It was easy to access. You have no business contributing to open source if you are unable to figure out something as simple as Subversion.

CoJaBo knows subversion.
GETTING the code is not the same as having submitted code ACCEPTED and put into USE.
Actually accessing the RUNNING code would allow it to be replaced by something that works better.
The responce for it looking bad on a 15 inch screen was basically "shut up and go buy a 24 inch screen".
