Apparently, nothing has actually happened for over sixteen years, it
has all just been an elaborate computer-generated hoax.
In a stunning revelation, the author, only identifiable as "irv" for
legal reasons, admitted to creating the program and accidentally
making a sixteen second failsafe actually last for sixteen years.
The author is said to be inconsolable.
