1. Eu Source (2.3) and gcc (3.2)

I've been trying to compile the (2.3--don't have the 2.4 code handy ATM) source
code for linux using gcc 3.2 on RH Linux 8.0. Everything compiles fine, but
I'm having problems running anything that includes another file. I get the
error:

"I/O error reading source file"

at line 1 of the first included file. I didn't change any of the code, so I'm
sure that I didn't break anything that way. Does anyone know why this would
happen?

Thanks,

Matt Lewis

This error is not your fault. An I/O error would only be caused by
something
such as a corrupted filesystem or a bad harddisk. My guess ... the file
was probably put in a bad block on the disk, hence gcc can't read it.
(Note that if you can read that file fine via a text editor, you can try
copying that file and then getting gcc to use the copy.)

No, I'm sure this isn't the issue, because the program runs fine when I use the
official exu v2.3. But when I try to use the exu that I compiled, I get the
I/O error.
