I have no Passport on XP. I think the best way to connect a Windows machine
to the net is via some Linux/FreeBSD machine with NAT & firewall.
btw This is not bugtraq.
btw #2 I am now toying with an idea of having some better connection to
the net (perhaps a home-made optical link), so I could possibly host some
Euphoria projects (if I get public IP or via some obscure portnumber).

Yeas, some day i hope to not give a #$&%^ about warning people of
problems. Forgive me this time, please, i know some on this list run XP. I
was concerned. I'll prolly write some code in mirc to filter my emails so i
don't send anything helpful again.

Maybe, but i am tiring of being dumped on everywhere. And it's not like there
is a college course where i can pay someone to give me a hand with Eu and

Kat, I was not offending you. I just think it is not needed to announce every
bug.
People here are also running Linux, so we can post bugs in Linux, and wait,
FreeBSD
bugs too...

This is a very good point.
One can expect the average FreeBSD/Linux user to be subscribed to the
appropriate lists or newsgroups for bug reports ... otoh the average
Windows user is not.
I'm rather neutral on the topic myself ... I don't want it since its an
off-topic item, but if someone else volnteers it, I don't mind either
(even
if its about Windows, its still an interesting tidbit to read). This is
not
the best forum for Windows bugs to be posted, but its not the worst
either.
(Posting such bugs in, say comp.os.linux.advocacy, now THAT is definately
a lot worse.)
Quite naturally, if someone else posts a bug about Linux or FreeBSD, I
won't
mind that either ...

Same here. After all, she did say it was off topic in the subject. If
someone doesn't want to read off topic material, they don't have to. As
far as I'm concerned, the more information, be it about security or
something else, the better.
