This is a very good point.

One can expect the average FreeBSD/Linux user to be subscribed to the
appropriate lists or newsgroups for bug reports ... otoh the average
Windows user is not.

I'm rather neutral on the topic myself ... I don't want it since its an
off-topic item, but if someone else volnteers it, I don't mind either
(even
if its about Windows, its still an interesting tidbit to read). This is
not
the best forum for Windows bugs to be posted, but its not the worst
either.
(Posting such bugs in, say comp.os.linux.advocacy, now THAT is definately
a lot worse.)

Quite naturally, if someone else posts a bug about Linux or FreeBSD, I
won't
mind that either ...
