A bit more info would be nice. They all look strange to me. Why are the three you marked okay? I cannot work out the formula you have applied to derive the time. And I repeat my previous question: Where did you get this data from? ---------- Derek. ================================================================== De informatie opgenomen in dit bericht kan vertrouwelijk zijn en is uitsluitend bestemd voor de geadresseerde. This is the number of milliseconds at a meridian where your 12:50 is 10:50. ----- Original Message ----- From: Derek Parnell <Derek.Parnell at SYD.RABOBANK.COM> Subject: RE: strange time and date format > > Okay, I'll admit to being slow. > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: 10963508 at europeonline.com [mailto:10963508 at europeonline.com] > > > This is strange: > > > > (all times are in same day) > > > > (hour:minute) > > 12:50 is represented with 39000000 -- ok > > 15:32 is represented with 48720000 -- ok > > 17:47 is represented with 56820000 -- ok > > 1:28 is represented with 84480000 -- !!this is strange!! > > They all look strange to me. Thanks Ricardo. In that case the values reach zero at 2:00am; anything earlier produces negative values. If you add the number of milliseconds in a day to the -ve value, you turn it back into a +ve without overlapping the hours 2:00 - 23:59. Thus 84480000 = (-1920000) + 86400000 > -----Original Message----- > From: rforno at tutopia.com [mailto:rforno at tutopia.com] > Sent: Tuesday, 23 July 2002 15:29 > To: EUforum > Subject: RE: strange time and date format > > > > This is the number of milliseconds at a meridian where your > 12:50 is 10:50. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Derek Parnell <Derek.Parnell at SYD.RABOBANK.COM> > To: EUforum <EUforum at topica.com> > Sent: Tuesday, July 23, 2002 12:56 AM > Subject: RE: strange time and date format > > > > Okay, I'll admit to being slow. > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: 10963508 at europeonline.com [mailto:10963508 at europeonline.com] > > > > > This is strange: > > > > > > (all times are in same day) > > > > > > (hour:minute) > > > 12:50 is represented with 39000000 -- ok > > > 15:32 is represented with 48720000 -- ok > > > 17:47 is represented with 56820000 -- ok > > > 1:28 is represented with 84480000 -- !!this is strange!! > > > > They all look strange to me.
