Told everybody about 100 times so, but... .. do you need any help to use the code to genereate levels real-time (different levels each time your new game is played!!). You might think it isn't possible because of the all the extra objects that need to be added, well trust me it is very easy.. .. you can do it yourself, or i can write a routine that places things randomly in the maze within given sectors and other cosiderations!! (A key next to a door doesn't make much sence offcourse) ..dynamic levels could make your game just that bit more original and attractive to be a name in the gamezz-buzznizz!! Look at Diablo!! BTW Where can you download Autodesk Animator and other drawing programs that are good?? (You mentioned it in your crash course thing... isn't there a shareware version (+crack or something), i didn't even find a warezz version. Ralf Nieuwenhuijsen nieuwen at xs4all.nl

You Don't need dynamic levels for what I'm doing. I carefully plan where items and descriptions are placed, so I need to sit and do it by hand. besides how much space does 100 ASCII mazes take up anyway? (compressed, about 30k) As for Animator Pro, go buy it. I think it's only $595 now. =) I got it a few versions ago (Autodesk Animator version 1.0) and upgraded it a number of times since then. It doesn't have all the features of say photoshop, but for 256 color animations it stands head and shoulders above anything else I've worked with. And i gotta add the mail costs to Holland as well?? I haven't got that much money!! So i'll have to use a warezz version, some of you might find me a bad person, but actually i am giving them a chance to earn some more money... ...if i ever make money and the program got something to do with it i either send them the money anonymusly or if it is enough i buy the program, that's my perosnal policy and it's the only used for things a wouldn't buy even when there isn't a warezz version. BTW My parents won't even let my do orders outside Holland cause of all the trouble... You might wonder.... did he ever earn some money, the answer is no, i always give it away because i learned from other peoples public source too, and this is my way of thanking them, i really like code and tutorial to the public, i read a lot of those... ...and when i use them for anything .. ..it's goes public too!! BTW II -- Your StarRanger program is cool and it's graphix are really fast, those are Jiri's routines, right?? Are those the same routines available on the Euphoria Web Site??

Thanx, and yes, Jiri rewrote my sprite engine to work with his techniques. > Are those the same routines available on the Euphoria Web Site?? > beats me. I don't think so. I'm sure the ones on the web site are different but similar.
