1. Topica email
I got another message back from Topica.
They're aware of the problem and they're
working on it. More than just EUforum is affected.
Fortunately, the RDS EUforum Web interface is working fine.
It doesn't depend on Topica.
If things don't improve soon, I'll look again at alternatives
to Topica for sending/receiving messages via email.
Apparently a lot of EUforum users like to use the email option.
I don't want to send hundreds of messages, several times a day
from listfilter.com. My service provider wouldn't like it.
I might get placed on a spam blacklist. I might attract a huge
amount of spam to whatever address I send from, etc.

Three mailing lists I've had positive experiences with are Freelists,
Yahoo Groups, and Google Groups.
Google Groups is especially nice, but all three work better than
Topica.
I have not been able to get mail from Topica in ages. My ISP thinks
anything from Topica is spam, and blocks it.
I've occasionally had similar problems with Yahoo Groups. I've never
had any problems with Google Groups or Freelists (save for some
downtime at Freelists).

Try and mimic the Digset feature of Topica, perhaps making it the only
available option for sending emails. This would vastly redyce the number
of emails sent (though not the total size of trandeffed daya).
Just an idea.

Yea Topica isn't that great. On Topica the Euphoria mailing list is among the
most active per day. With an average of 20-25 messages a day. Most other
programming language related mailing lists on Topica have an activity level of a
few messages a week. Also Topica has WAY fewer programming language lists than
Yahoo groups.
Example: Java {Topica} : 42 mailing lists
Java {Yahoo Groups} : 2123 mailing lists
Visual Basic {Topica} : 16 mailing lists
Visual Basic {Yahoo Groups} : 1007 mailing lists
