I have not started any projects yet, but am interested in writing for both Win32 and Linux. I am planning on using David/Judith's IDE for Win32, but have no idea what to use on the Linux side. Do we have many Linux/Unix programmers on the list? What libraries are used? Is there an IDE for Linux? Rafe

For text-mode, you can use vi or emacs or pico or anything. Dave Cuny's ee editor, converted to Linux, works ok. For GUI mode, I use kwrite. kedit is good, as well as Kate. As for GUI libraries, I wrapped GraphApp a few years ago, it's simple but limited. More recently, I have wrapped GTK+ 1.2. You can do a lot with this one. You can download the necessary files (about 152k) from http://take.maxleft.com Regards, Irv Mullins
