Is there a Linux IDE?

I have not started any projects yet, but am interested in writing for both
Win32 and Linux.  I am planning on using David/Judith's IDE for Win32, but
have no idea what to use on the Linux side.  Do we have many Linux/Unix
programmers on the list?  What libraries are used?  Is there an IDE for
Linux?
