1. program suggestion

At an abandonware site called Home of the Underdogs
(http://www.the-underdogs.com), there is a game called Lists and Lists.
The game is a programming tutorial disguised as a text-based
adventure. The programming language is a derivative of LISP. Hopefully
a good programmer will write a version in Euphoria. Some people (myself
included) learn better by doing the work, rather than
reading lists of definitions and terminology. (No offense meant toward
any of the authors of the guides). Any response is appreciated. Thank
you for your time.

so warm, all headlights so dazzling.'

HTTP/1.1 302 Object moved
Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0
Location: http://www.8search.com

Which naturally has nothing on it about the-underdogs.com

Urgh. I just get redirected to http://www.8search.com, which is just a giant
advertisement.

It's written by Andrew Plotkin. You can find the program here on his home
page:

It's not really abandonware, though. It's written in Z-code, a cross-platform
virtual machine language for writing adventure games. It was invented and
used by Infocom for their adventure game - Zork, Planetfall, Wishbringer, etc.
