1. Slight issue with String.e in ESL?

I noticed that the routines in string.e are "local" instead of "global", thus
would not serve well as library routines blink. I'd thought I would mention this
before too much development goes underway. It would become a real problem, real
quick :P. Perhaps this is intentional, but I surely could not imagine why.

Nope, that's a mistake on my part because I wrote that up in a minute at work
and didn't test it. Thanks for pointing that out. Although, that's just an
example piece for the time being until we really start coding (we're still
dicsussing the specifications for the files).

There's another mistake too, the filename is already taken:

-- file: string.e
-- author: Normand M. Blais
-- date: January 4 1999
--
-- Modified 12/8/99
-- Greg Harris

Nobody can get the exclusive rights to a filename like string.e. This issue
should be fixed in the programming language, not by us.
