Back in 1997 I decided Euphoria was better than any other language (for me). Having made that decision, I don't want go back and re-hash it anymore. I suggest Euphorum have sub-forum called "The Pros and Cons of using Euphoria" And use Euforun to discuse things like the difference between Al Getz's Winclass over win32lib.ew Don Cole, SF

The problems and issues that arise when people are trying to use a development tool cannot be so conveniently separated from the discussion about how those problems and issues might be solved. The "use it, find the problems, try to come up with ways to make it better" cycle is the source of a great deal of progress in development tools and indeed, in many other products. At the very (very) least, such discussions highlight where the limitations of a language are and how they might be avoided - even if it means using another development tool or programming language to solve the particular problem that was raised. IMHO discussions about ways to improve the language have as much a place on this list as any other kind of post. Best Gordon

We could split into two or three forums/categories: Linux/FreeBSD, Windows/DOS, and Holy Wars Everytime a holy war about how to improve/ruin Euphoria breaks out it gets rather hard to spot the serious post among the rest.
