1. listfilter/EUforum/Change Settings

I've been wanting to ask this for a while but... How do I change my random
password for the EUforum on listfilter.com? I've been using Topica to post
because I can't remember random letters. Also, I'll say it again; I find it
difficult to compose a reply using the "Send a Message to EUforum" form because
of the lack of wrapping... And again, am I expected to hit return to avoid what
I'm seeing now? (That is, a multi-line edit control that only uses the top line
unless I treat it like a 1920's typewriter... at least give me a 'ding' when I
should hit 'return')? Sorry, I think that's just stupid. And I'm sorry if this
post looks dumb but I can only see the last 75 characters or so using this
form... makes it hard to proof-read and just gives me more reason to stick with
Topica for posting.

Rob could add cols= to the textarea, and if he does, I like
cols="20". I'm sure everyone will agree on that :)

Or we could just hit return now and then.

Just say that you "forgot" your password.
A new one will be sent to you.

If you have cookies enabled, and you leave the
"Remember my password" box checked, you won't
have to remember anything or type anything.

I've always been one to type carriage returns manually
when composing e-mails. I don't like to rely on
software to do it for me.

Also, when you quote material with one or more levels
of '>', wrapping can create a very messy display
on your screen.

I guess what we can do though, is eventually have more
"Settings" that people can specify for controlling
stuff like this.

We considered having "password" as a setting, but it looked
a bit complicated and we felt very few people had any
need to choose a new password, given the cookie system.

4. Re: listfilter/EUforum/Change Settings

There should be an option to change your e-mail address,
and a button that will turn on/off text wrapping in the textbox
in the "Send a Message to EUforum" page, with a default option in
the settings (it would use the default unless you clicked the button,
whitch would turn on/off the text wrap, not modifying the default).
This could also be done with the "Qoute Origanel Text" button.
