I now have two new release candidates for 3.0.2: DOS/WIN: http://www.rapideuphoria.com/uploads/e30setup.exe Linux: http://www.rapideuphoria.com/uploads/euphoria.tar Hopefully I can do FreeBSD in a day or two, and then make everything official for 3.0.2. I recently got Debian running again on my machine and hopefully within the next month or so I can download and install the Great Computer Language Shootout CVS stuff and figure out how to compare the benchmarks against the latest Euphoria as well as against 2.4. It's US Tax season right now, though, and I've been really slow at getting this project going. But I'm closer! Thanks to Robert Craig and Matt Lewis for the prompt response to my compilation problems. Those routines from the latest download of 3.0.2 now compile without errors on my system. May I make a suggestion here. I'm getting confused about which version is which with these downloads. Could you use a numbering system for release candidates, perhaps like the Linux distros use. e.g. euphoria_3.0.2_rc2.tar or euphoria302rc2.tar

It gets confusing, plus you don't necessarily want to overwrite your old versions, etc. (Firefox is also really bad about downloading the new version of a file with the same name -- it just gives you the old one out of your cache.)

OK, I'll do that from now on. In general, I don't like to add the 3rd digit in too many places, because I'm likely to forget to change it, causing confusion, but I guess it's important in the name of the installation file.
