Hi, I guess I should announce this now, so no one else wastes their time wrapping something that's already been wrapped. I have pretty much wrapped Glide3x (Glide 3.02). Anyone who wants to start work in Euphoria with this should email me for the wrapper, otherwise, wait for the official release (probably just a few weeks away). The official release will include documentation, demos, a basic 3d engine, and some small tutorials to get people started. [ Some info on Glide ] The Glide API, is not a 3d engine (Direct 3d and OpenGL are 3d engines). It is a set of functions commonly used in 3d engines, like texture mapping, alpha blending, z buffering, etc. Glide programs only run on 3dfx cards. Glide3x supports the following cards, Voodoo Graphics, Voodoo Rush, Banshee, and Voodoo 2. Glide is the **fastest** API for accessing 3dfx cards. -molasses

Could someone tell me why this e-mail appears to have been sent on 12-4-98. Is it just my computer or is there something wrong with just my ISP or what. I joined the list about 2 months ago and have received e-mail dated in '97! What's up? Thanks Ken Furlong Molasses wrote: > Hi, > > I guess I should announce this now, so no one else wastes their > time wrapping something that's already been wrapped. > I have pretty much wrapped Glide3x (Glide 3.02). > Anyone who wants to start work in Euphoria with this should email > me for the wrapper, otherwise, wait for the official release (probably > just a few weeks away). > > The official release will include documentation, demos, a basic > 3d engine, and some small tutorials to get people started. > > [ Some info on Glide ] > > The Glide API, is not a 3d engine (Direct 3d and OpenGL are 3d > engines).
