On my home machine, there's an added twist: the menu item "Manage
include statement" causes the expected windiw to open. Clicking anywhere
on the window causes 8 message boxes reporting a page fault caused by
EXW in kernel32.dll. IDE closes down gracefully then.

Same IDE/w32 under Win98SE.

Yes, this is part of the problem you ran into earlier. I know about it but do
not know
what to offer you except to change parent of all windows to 0 except Properties,
ProjectView, ToolBox and Design.
I'm waiting for a response from Derek before I change any code. If you still
have win32lib v0.60.1 IDE will run
well with that version.

Sorry, but no answers yet. I'm working on it today as my priority issue.

Just out of curiosity, I started running all demos supplied woth 0.60.2.
destroy2.exw and focus2.exw exhibit the same "unclickable window"
feature as IDE. This certainly points to child window getting focus
issue.

An unrelated test on dicethrow.exw gives something else: an error 436 if
you interrupt the demo by closing the window. ex.err then reports a zero
divide error.
(All the above on my Win98 machine at home)
Perhaps going back to sleep now, it's about 6am.
