You can almost hear the tumbleweeds blowing by... Any comments, questions, suggestions, blank stares? Remember, we have (so far) 2 group participation assignments for this week's lesson: 1) I need suggestions for the Project Codname for our course project. 2) I need suggestions for the Bonus Objects for each level. We have a Pumpkin, we need at least 5 more. Each of these objects will have an animation associated with it. Parts 3 & 4 should be up tonite sometime. Since Packy's gonna EAT it, I would certainly hope it would be FOOD. > 1) Can of beans or onions....one wiff and the Ghostie will have to spend > DOUBLE penalty time shrugging it off....;>....should be shortlived Something similar (Garlic) is already listed as a Powerup item They run away when they smell you. > 2) Maybe some kind of "energy boost" chocolate bar to make our hero run faster > for 5 or 10 seconds when ingested This is already a feature, called "Sugar Rush" and we already have a Candy Bar listed as a Powerup item in Part 2. The Sugar Rush duration and use will be described in Part 3, which is waiting for me to upload. Momentarily. Take another look at the Features list, and Descriptions Section. All the Powerups and PowerDowns are listed there. If you have an idea for more of those, gimmie gimmie. Remember: Bonus Objects are things that give the player bonus score when Packy eats them. They will be animated. PowerUp Objects are objects that give Packy a tactical advantage against the Ghosts PowerDOWN Objects are objects that give the player a tactical disadvantage against the Ghosts. Michael This lesson just keeps going and going...

as to bonus object; how about 1> a can of Jolt Cola (fizzes out the top) 2> a hershey bar with wrapper half off or peeling off (take a bit out) 3> a bottle of aspirin or tums (two tables popout) 4> or maybe aspirin and tums - i really dont care for the pumpkin with eyes as a bonus object (only operative characters should have eyes). Michael, where are you getting the time that you must be putting into this project. i figured that it would take a couple of months to get this far into the design. kugw! Lucien T.
