1. How Do They Do It?

Hopefully somebody here knows...
How does a word processing application, such as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect
or OpenOffice, display the text? Is that in a rich edit control? Or is it a
custom control? Or something else? I'm guessing custom control, but I don't
know for sure.

I'm fairly certain it is a custom control,
but you should be able to use it if you can
find the DLL it is in.
