I would hate to disagree with my learned colleague, but in my humble opinion Euphoria does not suck. I have used VB, and got sick of all the hassle. I use Euphoria and yes, it took a while to get to grips with a language the like of which I had never met before. As regards the IDE, I use a bound version which works reliably every time it runs. IDE has bugs in it, of course, but you get rather more than what you pay for, I feel. If you want a copy I will upload it to the Euphoria contributions page. I haven't done that since I think most programmers who use IDE can do the same themselves. However, if it would help you to appreciate what you're getting for your money, I will do so.... It's been extremely weird/unstable since I installed win32lib 0.60.6. It's possible that patches posted here, which I applied to both, are incompatible. Though I thought I had downloaded the latest versions of both. Thanks, Bob
