On another note, adding word wrap to the Send A Message window would be great! ------------------------------------ Too many freaks, not enough circuses. j.

However, I'm using the computers at my school daily for reading this forum, and I do rarely use the same computer in a row. Therefore I do not get to see what posts I've read before. > On another note, adding word wrap to the Send A Message window would be great! That would also be great. Regards, Alexander Toresson Shhh! So, the in order for the forum to keep track of messages you read, you would have to log in to the forum like you do when you send a message. That approach would work for me, since I read the forum from home and from work (two different browser cache's). :) Later. Then I saw one of my messages was poorly formatted in the list. > As for the messages read, the link color change would tell you that you have > already read a message, at least until you deleted your cache, then the > browser > no longer knows which ones you read. > > So, the in order for the forum to keep track of messages you read, you would > have to log in to the forum like you do when you send a message. A problem that I am more likely to face is where I go for several days without reading the list and then I have to search backwards and hopefully figure out the last message I read. Maybe just a link to your last-read message if you are logged in? Or maybe it would be feasable to store the last x messages read by each user for such a relatively small forum. This is the same problem I had with the Topica interface, but I must say that I find the list filter interface much nicer Another suggestion -- preview. j.
