The word wrap in the Send A Message window is a good idea I just hit return
when it reaches the edge. :)

As for the messages read, the link color change would tell you that you have
already read a message, at least until you deleted your cache, then the browser
no longer knows which ones you read.

So, the in order for the forum to keep track of messages you read, you would
have to log in to the forum like you do when you send a message.  That approach
would work for me, since I read the forum from home and from work (two different
browser cache's). :)
