In the Archives there is a Winamp wrapper. It can play MP3s and other files via the Winamp's input plugins. You can just search for MP3. Also, in the Recent Contributions List there is a wrapper for the BASS Library, written by me. It can play MP3s, MODs (a few different types), WAVs, streaming OGG and Vorbis. Rob didn't put in any of that. Unfortunately, the documentation is not complete. It only pertains to working with the library in C. -----Original Message----- From: Robsz2 at aol.com [mailto:Robsz2 at aol.com] Subject: Playing MP3s Hello. I was wondering if anyone out there has a library for playing MP3s in Win32. I already searched the archive and all that I found was an invalid link. If you have one could you send it to me in a zip file please? Thank you.

Sorry, I just looked and the Winamp wrapper is the file that doesn't work. I guess that you will have to use BASS. Sorry that there are no docs, but I'll get to that ASAP. -----Original Message----- From: Elliott Sales de Andrade [mailto:quantum_analyst at hotmail.com] Subject: RE: Playing MP3s In the Archives there is a Winamp wrapper. Hi, There is a free MP3 library for the Allegro games library I have thought about wrapping (called AllegroMP3). I think it works on Linux as well. The down side of this is you would need the Allegro library as well. (This is about 500KB give or take) - which is better than requiring the user to have WinAmp I guess?).
