Hi, There is a free MP3 library for the Allegro games library I have thought about wrapping (called AllegroMP3). I think it works on Linux as well. The down side of this is you would need the Allegro library as well. (This is about 500KB give or take) - which is better than requiring the user to have WinAmp I guess?).
