I was impressed by the D&D simulator, it was = very good!=20 In response to your questions: Initiative: Well, this is entirely optional. Traditional D&D uses turn based combat = because of the dice rolling involved. But, since the dice are automatic, = that doesn't nessicarily mean it has to be turn based. But I tend to = think turn based is a better idea.=20 Should a character have multiple attacks per round? If we're looking at D&D yes and no. Traditional D&D says that once a = fighter reaches a certain level he gets 2 attacks every 3 rounds. And it = keeps going up to an extent. A Mage on the other hand can't because, = well, he's a mage!. Weapons: Sounds like a good idea. From my own experiances I like to be able to = choose from a variety of weapons. If you want to get really specific, = different weapons should do more or less damage to different monsters.=20 E.g. A sword would work well on a Human or Elf but not on a Rock Golem for = obvious reasons. A mace will work well on a Lich, but not well on a more 'fleshy' = creature. Characters: The separation of character sounds interesting. But, do you mean = updated by the program (if so I think: yes) or by the user? I'm not clear on what you mean about the floppy's. Do you simply mean = copying character files on discs? Just so oyu know: I have acces to a Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's = Guide, and Monstrous Manual.=20 Another thing you should know is that I am not exactly great at = programing. I still have a lot to learn. I do know the basics and I've = got a billion and one ideas! One of these ideas is possibly (if you want) to transform this into a = full-fledged game. Have you ever played Might and Magic 5? Something like that, Oh yeah! We could use the Morfit 3D engine, but I'm = not sure how hard that is! I'm working on a program right now (it's small) but I will be working on = the D&D simulator. By the way, I'm using my Dad's e-mail account, my name is actually = Thomas. Bye.....and thanks! -Thomas --PS. do you want any graphics? I have a picture of every D&D monster on = my computer. And spells might be a good idea. ------=_NextPart_000_000D_01C00F4A.043D59E0 charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2614.3500" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Wow!
