DOS is dead, and the few people who enjoy using console programs on Linux probably will resent anything as 'futuristic' as a file chooser. They generally prefer typing -options on the command line. Irv -- Windows 98 is *NOT* a virus - viruses are small and efficient.

Anyway, for my initial interface, I wanted something simple that anyone (read: "I") could use quickly and easily. The program I'm writing should port easily to other UIs. So, you're sayin' I gotta do it on my own?
