Everyone,
I've uploaded Eu 4.1 for Windows, Linux, OSX, and ARMv6 to SourceForge. I've done checks on the individual packages but there certainly could be mistakes (I already found one for the Win-64bit, which is fixed now).

I just checked with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes and no threats were found. Looking at this post, http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Clarification-on-WS-Reputation-1-detection/td-p/232155, it seems WS.Reputation.1 might not be an actual threat.

Cool. I guess we should label this a beta, and maybe put those downloads in some sort of a beta folder on sourceforge.
Are the windows binaries compressed? That's caused false positives with virus scanners in the past.

Yes, the windows binaries are compressed with upx. Should we just call the folder on SourceForge 4.1.0-beta?

I believe that any file that Norton or Symantec has not seen before, and which has the capabilities that a compiler or interpreter is bound to have, will be marked as WS.Reputation.1 unless it comes from certain trusted sites such as Microsoft or Adobe. It is intended to mean that the file has not achieved a good reputation. Not surprising if it is new. Furthermore, taking avoiding action as if it is malware will give it a bad reputation.
I am using Microsoft Security Essentials which gives more of a hint that it doesn't know much about the file.

FINALLY! I've been asking for this for YEARS! Hopefully the finished release will offer the same option.
