1. eFTE problem

I have a problem with the screen using eFTE.

The text is scrambled as shown in this link:

My installation was:

  • Slax 6.1.1
  • efte-1.0-1.i386.rpm
  • convert from rpm to lzm using rpm2lzm-pfix-.9-1.lzm
  • Slax module is created and installes

I do get a startup warning message:

xeFTE Warning: unable to open font "9x15": Missing count: 1 ISO08859-1

Yes, Slax does have most of the fonts stripped out.

Boy, that's pretty! Can you edit your config, main.fte and set the font to something different? Ideally, I guess eFTE should abort if it cannot find a suitable font.
