Negroponte's computer for every child project - or whatever its called, seems to
be on the threshold of reality.  This is a link to a recent wired article:

Its a very interesting machine - but will only have a 500MHz processor.

It occurred to me that what this machine really needs is a fast, powerful, easy
to learn programming language.  Especially with the ability to compile the
interpreted programs to run as fast as possibly on the 500MHz system.

So Rob, is RDC willing to donate a Euphoria package bundled with the compiler to
the project?  A number of other computer industry magnates
have made substantial contributions in cash and/or kind.
