No, I'm just wondering if the wxBitmap is really getting initialized correctly or not. wxWidgets handles all the drawing and whatnot, so it's not clear where the problem is (somewhere between wxWidgets/GTK/X). If he can draw the wxBitmap to another window, it will at least tell us where the problem isn't. Matt Lewis
