"autoexecute" is accurate. Code hasto be run to display things, make links 
hot-clickable, change fonts, download those fonts, fire up Adobe or Write or 
whatever, etc, and some display engine hasto run it.

The alert you say prolly also mentioned turning off ActiveX, and any other 
scripting you can name. OE uses the IE display engine, which is as good a 
reason as any to not use it, since there is still a major bug or backdoor 
reported nearly monthly, six years after it was first released in win95. 
Remember microsoft's audacity when they said all the bugs were fixed for 
win98, and a couple months after win98 was released, there was a *bugfix* 
that was megabytes bigger than all of *win95*.
