Sorry about the vague term, "autoexecute". I don't think this word is actually used in any email client. Just meant it as a generalization... In addition the other suggestions people have posted, I believe you may also need to turn off "Use Javascript" in Internet Options in Control Panel, or OE will execute Javascript in a message. The hassle of this is that you've just turned off Javascript in IE as well. Feel free to correct me on this, as I don't use OE. But I'm sure I remember an AV alert recommending this action. --Ted --On Friday, April 27, 2001 08:07:20 PM +0200 Tone Skoda <tone.skoda at siol.net> wrote: > > > How do i turn off autoexecute in OE? i looked, that option is nowhere. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Ted Fines <fines at macalester.edu> > To: EUforum <EUforum at topica.com> > Sent: Friday, April 27, 2001 3:20 PM > Subject: Re: VIRUS ALERT! > > >> > >> > >> Sounds like I need to check out VET!
