HEh? Well, someone requested screenshots, but I never made any. Therefore, I have taken the time to load up a couple of random 3D objects I had lying around and take snapshots. Take a look... A gun I made for Language Wars 3D: http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth01.jpg Rebirth's WireFrame renderer. Look formilliar? :P http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth02.jpg My own house I once modeled in 3DSMAX. This the backyard. http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth03.jpg Heh? A wave-like surface for cool water. Wireframe. http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth04.jpg My master-piece. A modeling of a table I once made. http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth05.jpg I'm not sure. Hade this lying around... http://mtsfreestyle.fws1.com/rebirth06.jpg Personally I think the renderer is pretty good, about as good as you can do it with D3D. I had billinear filtering on, gouraud shading, anti-aliasing, and specular emission. Note that these pics are from Software Mode, so no 3D HW was used. I used MAX to model these couple of things, 3dsconv to turn them into .x files, and a 4-line Euphoria program to render it all on the screen. Yes, it's *that* easy. I'm doing some new stuff for the engine, but I don't like to anounce anything because what if it don't make it in... Have patience, just a little while longer... Mike The Spike
