Such questions are intriguing in one sense, but they are also somewhat misleading. For example, can REBOL transpose a matrix in one statement? Well, apl could. Does that mean that apl is better than rebol? Yes and no. Each language has certain purposes and strengths. Comparing two languages on one snippet of programming is therefore like asking which is better: oranges or grapes? Which should we be eating? The answer is that both have their purposes. If one language was perfect, there would only BE one language... I'll bet there are lots of really nice features in Rebol. But I'll also be that there are some things that it can't do well.
