A simple Start-Search told me ramdrive.sys exists both in windows\system as
well as in windows\command\ebd ... the last means it is also (logically!)
included in a backup-disk ..
Actually, just create a start-up disk and have a look.
A RAM-Drive program, device and a compressed package of 'recovery' tools,
that are being extracted to the ram-drive for diagnoses uses.
The tools are command line tools, so I suspect they can be of help.
Good luck,
(hey, why not write your own ramdrive system
..
