I guess writing questions opens up the mind a bit... I found out how to display the font correctly using win32lib's : setFont(ctl, font, size, attribs) and setting the attribs to the 9 value sequence with THAI_CHARSET in there (No idea about the other values - just guessed!) Now on to the Input options...
