As far as I know, no source code needs to change.
Maybe just a change in the way things are linked.
I think I even tried pmodew successfully many years ago.
Read the pmodew docs and see what they say.

(By the way, my Internet connection has been
down the past few days, and will be down
for a few more, due to some strange problem
that my ISP is having. I might not be responding
very quickly until they get it fixed.)
