Howdy folks, A few days ago i posted about a problem I was having opening a file I knew existed. I got a lot of excellent suggestions, thanks all for that. I finally figured out the problem... the most newby-ish of errors... I forgot to strip of the trailing carriage return from the line I had read from another file.
