Of that we have no doubt

Don't understand what you mean by that.

Any decent email client can watch/ignore threads (surely?)
>3) integrated spam control (Moderated forum)
AH: If you are going to do this manually this is not good. The world
don't stop because you need to sleep or go on holiday for a fortnight.
Better, of course, emulate RDS's listfilter. And then there is no
excuse not to stick an email interface into it!!!

If us plebian emailers get our submissions bounced because the subject
does not begin with [forum][topic] so be it, I could live with that.

? Erm, Anyone care to claim they got a virus from Topica?
(btw script defender from analogx adds nothing ontop of standard
security settings as far as I can tell, so I still ain't likely to
trust javascript anytime soon)

Got that already (well, ignore threads anyway)
>6) The forum is brought to you Free of charge with no advertising
Got that already, thanks. The fact you said this just makes me suspect
you have devious plans to introduce charging at some point. If you are
going to be the only person in charge of this new forum, how are we
know otherwise?

Yes, and I wish you all success, but don't abandon the good things
just to get rid of one really bad one (the topica web interface).

What is DEPF?
