I'm Famous ... Euphoria's Famous!!!
well ... almost!
It was a rainy, windy, cold Saturday morning here and I didn't have a
whole lot to do so I thought I'd just go down to the shops and have a
bit of a look around.
I wandered into the local newsagent and just flicked through a few
computer magazines ... and I saw a copy of the "Linux Journal"
(June 2003).
I picked it up and had a quick glance at the contents and saw a story
about SQLite. Since I had written a Euphoria wrapper for SQLite I had
a quick browse through the acticle ... and there at the end it had:
"Finally, because I'm not a Java, Tcl, Ruby, Delphi, Lua, Obective C,
PHP, Visual Basic, .NET, Mono, DBExpress, wxWindows, Euphoria or Rexx
programmer ..."
There is is in black and white ... "Euphoria" ... referring to my
Euphoria wrapper.
There I was standing in the middle of the newsagent with a big grin on
my face :)
Anyway ... I had to buy a copy ($Aus15.40!!!!) pretty expensive but
I just had to!
Pity I don't develop it anymore :( ...
it was a good to see a mention of Euphoria anyway.
