These are known as 'hackers' dictionaries: They are used (so it is said) to try and get through password prompts, before the brute force method is applied. I made an unscrambling program a while ago (give it a set of letters, it spits out the words you can make with it) that uses one of these, it's sitting on my computer at home. You could also try the term hacker dictionary in google. There is also supposed to be one in the archives somewhere. ===================================================== .______<-------------------\__ / _____<--------------------__|=== ||_ <-------------------/ \__| Mr Trick >From: Al Getz <Xaxo at aol.com> >Reply-To: EUforum at topica.com >To: EUforum at topica.com >Subject: RE: Dictionary >Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 19:37:10 +0000 > > >Hi Stewart, > >That sounds good to me too! >I'd like to be able to use one with my editor from time to time. > >Wasnt Kat working on something like this a while back? >Havent heard from her in a while now... > >Take care, >Al > >Stewart MacKenzie-Leigh wrote: > > > > > > Does anyone know where i can download a computer dictionary from? for, > > like, a scrabble game or a spell checker. i don't need the meanings, > > just a > > list of words. > > > > thanks in advance > > > > __________________ > > > > StewartML > > >
