While some of you have discussed religion, and others express their concern for too little non-gaming programming, I've uploaded a new version of "Ye Greate Sprite Editor" to my page. Here is a cut and paste of the added stuff: ----What's new in version 1.10---- + This sprite editor now saves and loads sprite-files in the format created by Hollow Horse Software. This makes the sprite files smaller, and the size-limit is no longer there. Old ".lib" files can be converted to the new format with the included program "convert.ex". + You can now use your own palette. The included program "mkpal.ex" will create a compatible palette-file from a bitmap file. + The paint-mode look has been slightly changed. Now you can see the mouse pos relative to the selected image in the lower right corner. + 's' and 'x' can be used to change the right active color up and down. + CTRL + arrows in paint-mode will slide the image, so that the outmost pixelrow/colomn will be moved to the opposite side. (Test it, if I formulate myself clumsy) + The file "user.def" contains several global constants that can be defined by the user to ensure that the program fit you the most. + 'R' will now rotate any angle, not just 45 degrees. + F1 will toggle size display in overview mode on and off. + 'S' will resize highlighted image without changing it (eh, it will not be fitted to the new proportions. 's' will still do that). An example: 's' will treat the image like a ballon. 'S' will just add to or cut the edges. Go download it at my page: It is about 20K zipped. Thanx for all feedback up till now, and I sure would like some more! Einar Mogen Slimesoft What's got four legs and one arm? A pitbull!
