Andy, A little over a month ago we had a little contest going to write a program that could generate primes faster than the benchmark RDS uses, and Arthur Adamsomson graciously served as host and timekeeper for it. There were no prizes, it was just for fun, but many people still participated. If you or anyone else would like to start another contest, I'm sure you'd find plenty of willing participants. I think we could do without a huge list of rules and deadlines though... contests for fun should be just that, fun. Christopher D. Hickman Btw, How are you Arthur? Haven't seen you on the list for a while.
