I'm replying over the listserver because otherwise no one, except you David,
will hear what I have to say:
Win32lib is an *excellent* tool. I see it as Visual Basic or Delphi, a RAD.
We all need RAD's for our everyday work, but there are sometimes when you
need extra power (VC++ ?). It's not reasonable to ask Win32lib to hold ALL
the possible features.
On the other side, playing directly with WinAPI will help me UNDERSTAND
Windows programming. It's an exercise for me!
Features that would be nice Win32Lib have:
1) Be able use Tray icons (notification area).
2) Make use of resource files to load resources (dialogs, string tables,
icons, etc...)
