*Puts up "Don't Feed the Troll" sign* So how do you think we will respond? 1. C is over 20 years old, and is one of the most widely used programming languages out there. Almost every non-trivial language *copies* C to some extent, because that is what programmers are familiar with. C has a printf function. Euphoria has a printf function. That makes sense, because a programmer familiar with C is not going to want to learn a new functional system, with new control codes, just to be able to print formatted output to the screen. Java uses this same system for formatted output. 2. Euphoria has far less in common with C than most other languages. Java is much closer to C - it has much more rigid typing, and very similar syntax. Many things are trivial in Euphoria that are very difficult in C - dynamic sequences for one. Some things are trivial in C and somewhat difficult in Euphoria - interfacing with DLL's for one. 3. You are trolling. There are no reasons to come to a forum for euphoria for the first time, and just insult the language. If you have a point, state it. If you are learning the language and having troubles, ask questions on this forum and we will answer you. If you only want to be irritating, go away. -- MrTrick On Mon, 19 Jul 2004 16:00:44 -0700, Cualquiera <guest at rapideuphoria.com> wrote: > > posted by: Cualquiera <seba_j2000 at yahoo.com.ar> > > Hello, i think that EU is not a good programming language, is a copy of C, > but worst. >
