Something I noticed...

Run the "style.exw" example.

Click on the last tab (Multiline Edit).
Click into the second column, first row cell. Modify the text so that it has
no hard returns (all on one line).

Shift+TAB into the prior cell.

The text in that prior cell does not get drawn properly when highlighted.

TAB back into the following cell and, again, the cell contents do not get
properly rendered.
