Where's Rob when you need him?
Where's the news about the translator and our Euphoria
suggestions?

Are we gonna have to code in Euphoria like it is
today?
If so, we all know that in a year Eu don't exist
anymore.

The easiest thing Rob could do, would be to sell the
source to EU, like the guys that coded LCC did.
Every LCC clone you see out there means money in the
pocket.

I'm sick and tire of not being able to code what I
need to code in Euphoria, just because some guy
decided to spend a decade of his life coding an
interpreter, so we can't write a better, free version
ourself without spending a few years of debugging.

RDS might hate microsoft, but they should shake Bill
Gates' hand.
It's like Windows.
See any *free* Windows clones out there?
Thought so.
You can't code an OS called "Windows 3000" or some
shit
and give it away for free, because it takes too much
work to write a clone.
You can't catch up anymore.

Euphoria has 2 options.
1. It stays the way it is and dies.
2. It improves itself and throws itself into
civilisation.

There will never be Euphoria clones out there that can
offer competition to RDS Euphoria, period.
They will always run slower and buggier, because there
wasn't enough time to improve/debug it.

Rob has to make the call.
Be happy with a few bucks a month, or take over the
world and get thousands of bucks a month.

But do it fast,
because a lot of new languages are being made.
C# being the most dangerous.
Easier than C yet safer and almost as fast?
What about Microsoft's new common compiler targeting
platform?
I'm not sure but I think it means that you can port
your Visual Studio Compilers to other platforms.

RDS, wake up and smell the stench.
Throw us a bone here, or we're out of here sooner or
later.

PS. I saw a new app posted to the archive by a guy
named Andrew (???) or something, he works for Sun
Microsystems.
And he codes in Euphoria.
Feeling a bit sweaty are ya Rob?
