selectDirectory() with a checkBox for Subdirectories

In the Dialog box for selectDirectory() I would need to insert a checkBox for explore the Subdirectories of the selected path, but I don't know how to do that. Can somebody enlighten me, or does already exist any sample about? If not, think it could be a good standard solution for the selectDirectory() function. Thanks
